However, her first, timid interactions with the opposite sex proved that reality is woefully far removed from her amorous notions. Animator Signe Baumane treats romantic relationships – and the expectations that arise from them – with her typical, lightly ironic detachment, and all this seasoned with musical interjections from a Greek chorus and illuminating details of neurochemical processes in the brain....
